The Gospel Light Vocal Ensemble know how to animate every type of situation: public, private or corporate events, ceremonies, weddings, up to real concerts! Last but not least, we are perfect for every kind of Christmas events! We have a variable formation according to the requests: from vocal quartet up to 6 voices, accompained by piano or by a whole band, up to a 15-voice choir and band. We propose a journey through Afro-American music; in our repertoire you will find traditional songs as "Amazing Grace" and "Oh, Happy Day", "I Will Follow Him" ??and "Ain't No Mountain" from Sister Act movie, or Reverend Kirk Franklin's "Brighter Day" and "My Love, My Life, My All", up to the classics of Christmas tradition like "Silent Night, Holy Night" and "White Christmas", and standard jazz as "My Favorite Things" and "On The Sunny Side Of The Street" .

La formazione ormai da anni si esibisce in concerti e rassegne vocali, calcando i palcoscenici di teatri, auditorium, chiese, piazze, palazzi storici, club e locali, programmi televisivi e Festival Gospel, tra i quali anche l'Ascona Jazz Festival e il Christmas in Jazz di Lugano.
All’attivo si contano più di 400 eventi e diversi riconoscimenti artistici.
Numerose sono le collaborazioni con artisti nazionali ed internazionali (Fausto Leali, Lisa Hunt, Carl Anderson, Joyce Yuille, Ronnie Jones).
Attivi dal 1999 sotto le spoglie dei “Rainbow Singers”, i “The Gospel Light Vocal Ensemble” sono un gruppo vocale che nasce nel 2006 ed è formato da sei voci soliste (Sabrina Olivieri, Gabriella Favaro, Simona D’Agostina, Emanuela Cortesi, Nicolò Berterame, Roberto Mastromauro).
I Gospel Light propongono con il loro repertorio un viaggio attraverso la musica afro-americana, dallo spiritual al contemporary gospel, passando per il musical e arrivando agli standard jazz più sofisticati. Dagli immancabili traditional “Amazing Grace” e “Oh, Happy Day”, ai successi di Sister Act “I Will Follow Him” e “Ain’t No Mountain”, alle coinvolgenti composizioni del reverendo Kirk Franklin “Brighter Day” e “My Love, My Life, My All”, ai classici della tradizione natalizia “Silent Night, Holy Night” e “White Christmas”, fino allo swing incalzante di “My Favourite Things” e “On The Sunny Side Of The Street”.
La varietà del repertorio e gli arrangiamenti originali polifonici, curati da Sabrina Olivieri, fanno si che lo spettacolo dei Gospel Light sia un’esperienza non solo di grande impatto emotivo, ma anche di alta caratura musicale.
Il Sestetto vocale si avvale di una formidabile sezione ritmica composta da tastiera-pianoforte, basso, batteria che occasionalmente tace per lasciare spazio all’esecuzione di brani a cappella o accompagnati dal solo pianoforte.
Lo show diventa così energia, ritmo e passione che riesce inevitabilmente a coinvolgere ed emozionare il pubblico di ogni età.
